We are living with the people who have different culture, for this reason, we experience many frictions. In addition, I believe that these frictions come from prejudice. If we get over our prejudice and try to understand each other, we can make our society better. I will face the cultural differences in the future while working as a medical assistant, but if I try to understand about other cultures, the problem will solve more easily.
Disabilities Etiquette
I have used the word HANDICAP or DISABILITY. I know it does not have any bad meanings to it, but I just know that it could hurt other people’s feeling if we do not use them carefully. This presentation makes me think; how I feel when I hear it from the people talking without careless. Moreover, it just taught me to put myself in other’s shoes.
Office Professionalism
The professionalism in the workplace has many meanings, but the thing I learn from the presentation is the mistakes. If you made the mistake, do not blame on others and just accept it and learn from the mistake. Thus, if it learns from the mistakes, harmonizes with knowledge, it will help me to become a CMA who can give confidence and trust to employer and patients.
