Hi! Where did you hear eleven oh five as eleven after five? I can't say I've ever heard that before. As far as I know, eleven oh five is 11:05 and that's all! Anyone else? Am I missing something here?

Well my confusion is that firstly can we call 12:00 as 12 a.m/p.m. and in some parts the word "THE" has been been pronounced has "THEE". What is the correct pronounciation? Please help. Hi all, I am an English teacher and I can answer a few of your questions. The word 'the' can be pronounced in more than one way depending on if you are speaking in British or North American English. You can pronounce it as 'the' and 'tha'. Also eleven 0'five means five minutes after eleven, not eleven minutes after five. There are differences in time around the world as well, and in North America we refer to 12:00 as 12am for early morning until 11:59 noon time and 12pm for early afternoon until 11:59 at night.
Hope this helps a bit. written by a, June 28, 2008
The person that was asking about ¨eleven oh five ¨ meant ¨eleven of five¨. I´m looking to find an answer as to how this is interpreted.
