Hi, I'm Siau-Jiun, I'm from Malaysia. I learn English and assist students in Christchurch Polytechnic during their self-study time. Here are some idea to share.

Step 1: go to www.bbc.co.uk (words in the news) or http://eslnews.org.nz/
Step 2: find an interesting article with audio
Step 3: Listen to the master audio without transcript
Step 4: Listen to the master audio with transcript
Step 5: Record your voice by reading the transcript and find your weak area by listening to the master audio.

Read the article as many as you want, you see the fluency improvement in your reading and train your month to adapt in English way.

Step 1 : serch Audacity software at GOOGLE
Step 2: Install Audacity on your computer
Step 3: Open Audacity from your computer
Step 4: Press "RECORD" (Red button) button in Audacity and start reading
Step 5: Pres"STOP" (Yellow button) when you finish recording
Step 6: Save your file - go to > file menu > choose export> save as wav file.

I am an a-level student.I am in my second semester . i can write as well as speak english fluently but i alwaz get a B grade in my exam papers. My teacher says I still need to work hard. So i humbelly request you to help me improve my writing aswell as speskin skill. Thank you.

Today, a student told me she improve writing by writing few short stories in a weeks. I think this is very interesting, you can write your own story book by drawing some illustration or picture in a small dairy book. If you do this continuously, you will have a collection of your own story books!
